Walking in, I was not surprised to see green seating. After all it’s Derby where there’s a ton of Derby Panther pride.
I happened to be in the area one morning and decided to pick up some donuts for colleagues. Coming in around 8am, there were still plenty to choose from. They even had gluten free donuts so I made sure to get one.
I picked up a dozen donuts along with one of their sausage rolls.
My assortment of donuts went around the office and was enjoyed by many. I had a Bavarian cream, a glazed donut and the sausage roll which was like a soft breadstick wrapped around a sausage link.
I’ve said it many times but rating donuts can sometimes be tough. It’s you either like them or you don’t. I didn’t receive a single bad comment from anybody. Everybody seemed to really enjoy them…..and were very thankful for free breakfast.
Plus when I stopped in the lady working was incredibly friendly and engaging which made for a nice morning visit.
If anything, hopefully this review can shed some light on a different donut option around the Wichita area.

I found them unfriendly when I walked in and no help on purchasing donuts. Just bought 2 and walked out. I love my Wellington donut shop!!
I have been in Derby and Wichita for 13 years and Derby Donut has always been delicious and friendly!
