Kansas Star Casino will close until March 30

The Kansas Lottery announced all state-owned casinos will close starting Tuesday evening. This will take place until March 30 at the very least.

This will include Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, KS along with Hollywood Casino in Kansas City, Kansas Crossing in Pittsburg and Boot Hill Casino in Dodge City.

Kansas Star made a separate announcement that they will close on Wednesday March 18 at 5am. The closure will impact all public operations, including the casino, restaurants, meeting space and the arena.

With the closing, that also means no more all-you-can-eat crab legs at the Kitchen Buffet. If you have unredeemed vouchers or chips and feel comfortable leaving the house, today will be your last day to do so for at least a couple of weeks.
