Food It Forward: Amy’s Pizza Place feeds USD 263 low income kids

It’s the #FoodItForwardICT movement.

Many restaurants have been giving back to the community and we want to highlight those businesses who are doing what they can to bring a smile in terms of food.

The latest comes from a pizza restaurant in Mulvane, KS called Amy’s Pizza Place.

USD 263 feeds over 700 kids a day. With school already having scheduled to be off this Friday and Monday because of the holiday, that left many kids still needing food.

Who stepped up to the plate? The local Mulvane pizza shop. They spent the lunch time on Friday giving out free pizza to the USD 263 kids.

It was organized by all of the Mulvane Downtown restaurants, a group of Mulvane businesses and organizations, and by citizens who donated to help make good things happen in their community.

Bravo! Give them some love on social media via their Facebook page.
