The goal to continue supporting local restaurants continued with a drive down to Derby, KS to get in on a wing special that caught my eye on social media. Little Busters Sports Bar has 75-cent wings on Sundays. Add in some curbside delivery and I was sold!

We placed a call and ordered 10 wings (5 Bash Brothers honey jalapeño and hot) along with an Original Buster (Grilled Onions, Yellow Mustard & Dill Pickle Slices) that was served on a butter grilled bun. Their burger came with waffle fries.
I love Bash Brothers anything. If you’re unfamiliar with them, they are a local sauce and rub company out of Haysville, KS. The honey jalapeño wings were fantastic. At first glance the wings didn’t look like much but packed a surprising amount of meat on them. The sauce was done right too; it wasn’t on there so heavily that all you could taste was the sauce nor was it on so light. There was a good balance in how the sauce was mixed in.
The hot was light by my standards but still flavorful. While everybody’s tolerance for heat is different, it could be much different for you. A big huge A on the wings from me.
Meanwhile, the burger was a provided a decent little lunch. The 1/3 pound patty was good-sized to keep our appetites satisfied. To be honest, the Original Buster didn’t offer anything memorable but it was a good basic burger that left no complaints.
I apologize for no menu. These carryouts make it hard to snap any sort of picture unless one is provided. In the meantime, you can check out their menu online.
Outside of that, the carryout was timed just as they told me over the phone. A gentleman was quick to bring out my order, run my card, and I was on my merry way. I just might have to order those wings again next week.
