Papa’s General Store headed to Clifton Square next week

The popular Clifton Square area is about to get a new resident when Papa’s General Store opens next week in the former Flavors Coffee and Ice Cream Bar space. They will specialize in craft floats, coffee, ice cream and novelties.

One of the biggest draws of the new place could be their coffee printer which allows customers to have photos printed into the foam of their drink. It’s like latte art on steroids.

This is an example from another website I found that might give an idea of the latte art.

Papa’s General Store is owned by Derek Sorrells who also owns The Arcade and Sweet N Saucy so you can expect his crazy socks to also be available at the store.

The new store which is located at 3700 E Douglas is set to celebrate their grand opening Thursday, May 7. Sorrells did note that they could open sooner but for now Thursday is the day. If they do open sooner, they’ll publicize that out on their Facebook page.

Their hours will be Monday-Thursday: 9am to 9pm, Friday: 9am to 10pm, Saturday: 8am to 10pm, and Sunday: 8am to 9pm.

More information can also be found on their website.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
