While many people are working from, there’s still a big crew working hard to get the latest entertainment venue open for summer. Round1 Entertainment is slated to open July 1, 2020 at the moment. Of course anything can happen between now and then but that’s the current tentative date. be arriving in 2020.
Round1 will be located inside Towne East Mall and looks to be the big attraction Simon Properties is hoping will draw more foot traffic to the mall.
If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a huge entertainment complex with bowling, billiards, arcade games, ticket redemption games, karaoke, darts, ping pong, kids play zone and a full restaurant. It’s part of a Japan-based amusement store chain with roughly 60 locations worldwide.
Many of the Round1’s vary in amenities. Some may not have all the features that other locations have. According to the Towne East listing on Round1’s website, Wichita will have bowling, billiards and karaoke at the very least.
It will be located near JC Penney in space about 44,000 square-feet with its own entrance as seen in the pic above. Many locations in the United States are open from 10am to 2am but no word on what the hours will be when it opens in Wichita.
