The Salvation Army to provide utility assistance and food distribution to those in need

The Salvation Army has two efforts underway to help those in need.

To start, they have partnered with the Wichita Community Foundation to provide utility assistance to Sedgwick County families and individuals that have had their income/employment impacted by COVID-19.

They are working with families and individuals who need utility assistance. If your employment has been impacted or you know someone that has, please call 316-263-2769 ext. 148 to discuss possible assistance.

The second effort will be a food distribution taking place on Wednesday, April 29 to provide food relief for families in the community who have had their income/employment impacted by COVID-19.

Please come to 350 N. Market on Wednesday, April 29 from 10 am to 1 pm (while supplies last) to receive food to help you during this difficult time.

Convenient curb side service by the large red kettle on Market Street, you do not need to get out of your car. No identification or verification needed, just drive up and receive your food.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
