Sport Burger: One of the best deals in town

Many of you have seen and been through this line many times. It’s the Sport Burger drive thru. Around 11am and sometimes earlier, the line begins to back up into the street. Why? Because their burgers are worth it.

Sport Burger is a no frills drive thru only restaurant. What you get is a quick, cheap and easy burger. For the price, Sport Burger is one of the best values in town.

On my last visit, my wait was relatively short. Pro Tip: Go after 2pm when the lunch rush is over.

I pulled up to the window, paid cash only and was off to dine in burger heaven.

The burger patties at Sport Burger are the type that is smashed down and cooked medium well. The edges of the bun have a nice little crisp to them. After that, you’re served a well-seasoned burger that is delicious and wonderful. It’s a burger in its simplest form that still holds up well to the competitors.

If you’re hoping the fries have the same wow factor, don’t. While they have a decent coating of salt on them, there isn’t anything special to them and I’m assuming most people go here strictly for the burgers.

Most people can get away with getting a fantastic meal for under $5. Like I said, one of the best deals in town.
