With number of COVID-19 cases over 100 in Sedgwick County according to the local news stations, that puts our local healthcare workers at greater risk. They are on the front lines possibly putting their health and their family’s heath on the line.
Local restaurant Taco Locale is hoping to #FoodItForwardICT with their Tacos For Heroes program.
They’ve launched a small fundraiser and is accepting contributions of any amount on our website. Every ten dollars, they receive will provide an individual meal for a local health care worker. Their initial goal is to raise $5,000.00 to provide 500 individual meals to health care staff in our community. Some meals have already gone out to local hospitals this week.
