It’s been tough on our restaurant and hospitality industry as a whole. Some places have closed permanently, temporarily, some have returned, it’s an ever-changing scene that’s been a near impossibility to stay up to date on.
Unfortunately more bad news hit the community as two breweries announced their temporary closings.
The first came from River City Brewing which made their announcement on Facebook last night. They are set to close Saturday at 6pm.
The other brewery is also located downtown. Norton’s Brewing Company will also be taking a temporary hiatus. They were taking preorders which have sold out and their last day until further notice is also Saturday at 6pm.
Tough loss for our beer scene.
If you love both places, there are still ways to support. The easiest way is to head over to Norton’s Brewing Company’s Facebook page and River City Brewing Company’s Facebook page and leave them a positive review.
It’s the smallest token of appreciation anybody can do to show some love.
