We saw a Facebook post one day from Cheri’s Bakery who was advertising their cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls. Some people in my family have a sweet spot for them so what do I do? Make a call and head out west to pick some up.

The cinnamon rolls were $2.49 each/$9.49 for a 4-Pack while the pecan rolls were $3.25 each. Anybody who was interested had to call and reserve them and pick them up for curbside carryout.
We ordered two of each and made our way back home immediately.
To make this one short and sweet, we didn’t necessarily dislike them but at the same time we also weren’t wowed by them. On one side, the dough was nice, warm and soft. We aren’t big fans of very bready rolls and the ratio here was great. Unfortunately the frosting over the top left a little to be desired. The pecan rolls were much better though. The caramel icing and pecans really made the rolls as they should. It was a subtle sweetness to it that we definitely enjoyed more.
When it comes to rolls of any type, it’s so subjective to one’s preference. Hell, that’s the way it is with any food. So don’t take our word for it, give them a try yourself. People love talking about cinnamon rolls so it’s worth a shot.
One thing we do know about Cheri’s Bakery is its a common feature at family birthday parties for my nieces and nephews.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
