The corner of Douglas and Rock will have one more restaurant open at the end of the month. Opening in the former Genghis Grill space at 111 S. Rock Road will be bd’s Mongolian Grill. They’ve officially set the grand opening date for Monday, June 22.
Create-your-own style restaurants have been a big hit lately and bd’s Mongolian Grill hopes to capitalize on the trend. This restaurant gives you the chance to customize your own stir-fry dish. The Dallas-based chain offers fresh meat, seafood and vegetables on the assembly line. “Fresh” is the theme for BD’s Mongolian Grill.
Keeping in line with the current state of things, they will be taking all the necessary precautions to make sure diners feel safe. With the opening taking place in a few weeks, they are looking at options on exactly how they want to run the buffet line. More on that will be revealed as the opening date looms closer. At the very start though, they will not have soup and salad available. Those items will be added at a later date.
The nearest location can be found in Overland Park and this will be the first one opening in Wichita.
Once they open their hours will be Sunday through Thursday 11am to 10pm and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 11pm.
At this moment they are currently taking applications and in the hiring process. Those who would like to apply can stop by bd’s Mongolian Grill Monday through Friday from 8-5 to fill out an application. Trainers will be in town in the coming week so they are looking to hire quick.
For more on bd’s Mongolian Grill you can check out their website or take a quick look at one of their sample menus. Please note menu and prices may not reflect what it will be in Wichita.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
