Have you ever heard of The Coop? It’s an interesting concept that is located in Derby, KS. The business is essentially a co-op that allows bakers and food providers to rent space inside whether it’s a shelf or a refrigerator. It’s a shared space that is perfect for home bakers to sell their products. In times like this, it’s a great marketplace for people to help get more eyes on what they are creating and earn some extra money.
On top of that, there’s a little coffeehouse at the entrance of the building. Everything is all handled by one register so it’s not like a flea market or anything where you have to go from stand to stand.

I stopped by to pick up some bierocks from Bierocks Babe and snapped some pictures to give you an idea of what to expect inside. And if anything, if you’re a home baker, this could be of good use for you.
Many names I’ve seen come across my Facebook feed like Sweet Crumbs, Delano Bakery, Perfect Plate, and NiceBites all had products available for purchase. Some other ones in the bakery lineup that were new to mew were The Magic Oven, Short & Sweet, Tis So Sweet, Holy Crepes, Keto on w/ Kerri, Leah’s Bakery and more all had some of their goodies on hand.
Here’s a menu of what they had.
Overall, a cool sweet little spot with what looks to be a constantly evolving line of treats. Just from looking at the menu, I know I’ll have to be back to try new things.
Happy Dining,
Eddy

Love this place, bought a couple of masks from there which is nice and convenient but the real selling point is the coffee and pastries, everything I have had so far is excellent.
