Quick review of TJ’s Burger House

One of the very popular burger restaurants with a huge following is TJ’s Burger House. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve last been to the restaurants so I wanted to revisit them. I stopped in for a quick lunch this past week and here’s how it went.

I was feeling something a little different than a standard burger so I ordered the Spicy Jack which was spicy thousand island dressing, pepper jack cheese, pickles, lettuce and onions.

The fries were standard but with a douse of salt were much better. The burger patty itself was slightly overcooked and on the dry side. There wasn’t much dressing loaded over the top of it and the predominant flavor of the burger was the onion. Each bite was not reminiscent of how TJ’s Burger House was in my memory. I was a little underwhelmed by it all and hope it was just an off day. The best part of the burger was the bun itself which was incredibly soft and form fitting to your hands.

On the bright side, the service was fantastic and the speed of delivery was great. The staff there was very friendly which gives me more of a reason to go back.

Here’s their menu:

Happy Dining,
Eddy
