If it’s one place I haven’t been to in years, it’s Dusti’s Place which is a bar and grill located off of West MacArthur Road. It’s a local family owned bar with daily food and drink specials, pool, darts, and a chill place to hang out. During the whole shutdown, they used the time to renovate the place and really clean it up. I decided to stop in for lunch to check it out as it’s been too long since my last visit.

Of course no stop to Dusti’s was complete without food. I went ahead and ordered the reuben with fresh cut fries. I wish I had taken a picture of the sandwich opened. By the time I split it in half, I was off to the races and done.
The corned beef was chopped up so it wasn’t big slices which made it easier to eat. For condiment lovers like myself, the sandwich was loaded with dressing. Everything else was very proportionate. The rye bread could have been toasted a tad bit more as it was a very soggy yet delicious sandwich. The fries weren’t seasoned much but really grew on me with each bite to the point I wanted more fries. All in all, I was more than pleased with my meal and glad I stopped by.
Every single time I’ve been to Dusti’s Place (granted it’s not often), the service has been incredibly friendly. There’s a neighborhood vibe to it that makes you feel comfortable and at peace. I’ve always enjoyed it and if I lived in the area, I would definitely stop by more.
