A new ax-throwing business has arrived in the former Lou’s Charcuteria space at 220 S Commerce St. Axe To Grind has two other locations around the country in Manhattan, KS and Sioux City, IA. This is the business’ third location.
If you stop by Axe to Grind, you can expect multiple throwing lanes, beer and seltzers, light snacks, cornhole and more. While they won’t be serving a full menu of food, you’re welcome to bring in your own. This is great news for a restaurant like Sorrel’s Jamaican Food which is located next door.
Prices for 90 minutes of ax-throwing is $24.99 per person. Axe to Grind has a VIP package that runs $39.99 per person and 1 Beer/Sparkling/Soda or Water, 1 complimentary Snack Item, private lane for you and guests, professional axe coach, unlimited free axe throwing for 30 days and two hours of throwing.
This will be the city’s second ax-throwing bar after Blade & Timber opened a couple of years ago.
