While on the hunt for some pizza, I wanted to go somewhere that was off the beaten path and a dining option not discussed much. After browsing around the Al Gore-invented Internet, I came across Crummy’s Sports Bar. Located inside West Acres Bowling Center, the sports bar is the alley’s destination to watch sports (when it really returns) and a space to hang out and have some drinks. For the purposes of this review, it was all pizza.

After looking at Crummy’s Sports Bar’s menu, it was a no-brainer to me to get their supreme pizza aptly named 300. It included 8 toppings. Apparently all the food at Crummy’s Sports Bar and West Acres Bowling Center is all made through the same kitchen but that wasn’t a big issue for me at all.
The pizza didn’t take too long at all. I ordered it to-go and they had it all boxed up and ready for me to take home.
Visually, it looked like your standard pizza. There was a decent amount of cheese over the top and a handful of ingredients with some slices getting more love than others. The crust was a little on the doughy side but not so much that it detracted our dining experience. As far as pizzas go, it was an above average pizza that met our expectations. There are definitely better pizzas in town (and in bowling alleys) than what was offered at Crummy’s. We were satisfied with it but knew it could have been better.
If we were bowling at West Acres which we do occasionally, I wouldn’t mind ordering a pizza again from there. But if I were elsewhere, it’s probably not a place I’d go out of my way to get one again at.
Here’s their menu:

Wait, in one sentence you say that it was above average and met your expectations, but 2 sentences later you say you were not satisfied with it.
Them is some high standards for “bar food”.
Always enjoy reading your reviews E. B.
Ooops major typo. It 100% should have said we were satisfied with it.
