I set out to do a day of dining in Newton, KS. It was my chance to try three different places I’ve never been to. I sought out suggestions on my Facebook page and one of the recommendations to start my day was at Norm’s Coffee Bar. It’s no secret I’m not an avid coffee drinker but I enjoy the atmosphere of a good coffee shop. I looked at the pictures online and figured it’d be a great start. My laptop joined me on the trip and I even wrote this blog while inside the coffee shop.

To start, I’m not in the business of reviewing coffee shops. At the same time, people come here to learn about new places. I’m of the thought process if you’re a big fan of something, it’s best to try all the options out there. So if anything, use this as a resource to learn about another option for coffee if you’re ever in Newton.
Norm’s Coffee Bar is located right on Main Street in the middle of all the fantastic little shops. It’s an easy walk from wherever you park on Main Street. I found myself parking away from the building and taking a nice casual stroll to see what else was available….. tons of local shops.
Inside the coffee shop, it was bigger and deeper than it appeared from the front. There was plenty of seating scattered from the front of the house to the back which made it really easy for social distancing.
There was an assortment of different pastries and drinks available to order aside from coffees, teas and frozen treats.
I ordered myself a tea, found a table, and typed this blog out.
It was a super quaint and chill place that made me feel like I was back in Wichita. Norm’s Coffee Bar was just the place I needed to begin my day of dining.
Here’s their menu:
Happy Dining,
