While out at a recent visit to Blood Orchard, we stopped by one of our favorite mobile coffee shops in Wichita, Espresso Self. They’ve made many appearances at rallies and food truck events all over the city.

While I’m not a coffee drinker, my girlfriend is and always gets an iced coffee when they are around. This time she ordered an Espresso Horchata. She’s really loved it and it made the perfect cool drink on the hot summer afternoon. I, on the other, hand went with their Brazilian Limeade; it’s my favorite drink on their menu and one I always recommend to others. Easily one of the best drinks I’ve had in town.
The Brazilian Limeade has a sweet but tart kick to it. It’s reminiscent of a key lime pie. It’s hard to just sip it, I end up gulping it down as quickly as possible. Be careful, it can get very addicting.
I’m not really one to be out reviewing coffee and beverage trucks as I’m sure they all have excellent drinks. For me, this is one that I’ve really come to enjoy at the food truck events and try to support in some capacity.
If you ever see them out, be sure to give them a try.
