What to expect at Scuttlebutts Coffee in Hutchinson, KS

I set out to do a day of dining in Hutchinson, KS. With one of my favorite events, the Kansas State Fair canceled, I set out to pump a little money into the local community and support local. On these days of dining, I always have my first stop at a coffee shop to grab a nice warm drink and plan out my day. My first stop in Hutchinson was Scuttlebutts Coffee. With two locations in town, I stopped at their Main Street spot inside the Clayworks building.

It’s no secret I’m not an avid coffee drinker but I enjoy the atmosphere and the smell of one. I’ll even dip into a few drinks because I’m open to all things. While I’m not in the business of reviewing coffee shops, readers come here to learn about new places. I’m of the thought process to always spread the word of local dining. So, if anything, use this as a resource to learn about another option for coffee if you’re ever in Hutchinson.

There was plenty of seating inside Scuttlebutts (that was socially distanced) which allowed me to map out my visits for a Day of Dining.

I saw a sign for a Caramel Apple Chai and thought that’d be a great drink to kick off my morning. An added shot of espresso was poured in to give me some extra pep in my step. A pastry display was at the counter and I couldn’t take my eyes off of the cranberry orange scone. My eyes made sure I ordered it.

Scuttlebutts was clean, inviting and relaxing. The two ladies at the shop were very friendly as well as engaging with every customer that came in. It had a warm vibe inside that made me feel comfortable which was just what I needed as I began my day.

Here’s their menu:

Happy Dining,
Eddy
