Brazita Bites debuts coxinha to the public this weekend

The newest food truck debuts this weekend when Brazita Bites celebrates their opening day on Saturday, September 12.

They are excited to share the Brazilian cuisine known as coxinha with everybody. The food truck will be taking orders for carryout and/or delivery. For Saturday, they will be parked on Dellrose behind the Fasttrax Car Wash at 575 Oliver from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

To place your orders ahead of time you can message them on Facebook or text 316-821-6667 for the online order link.

Brazita Bites’ specialty is coxinha which is a fried dough ball stuffed with different fillings like meats and cheeses. It’s a popular handheld snack in Brazil and will make its way to Wichita. Their coxinhas this weekend will be filled with chicken, beef, pepperoni, ham and cheese. They will also have churro bites filled with dulce de leite and Brigadeiros cups (Brazilian chocolate truffle). How exciting is that?

I recently had a sneak peek at coxinha a few weeks back and think everybody will love what is to come. The easy to consume treats should make for a great food truck rally dish with kids and adults.

There are plans for not just savory coxinha but sweet ones as well. It’ll be like a main dish AND dessert in one!

Stay tuned for our official first look at Brazita Bites soon.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
