Coming Soon to Wichita: Cracker Barrel with a side of Booze

Cracker Barrel

For the first time in 51-years, Cracker Barrel is making alcohol available on its menu. Earlier this year, the restaurant chain started testing the addition of beer, wine and mimosas at selection locations.

After some success, Cracker Barrel announced those changes would be permanent and the addition of alcohol would expand to all locations hopefully by the end of 2020.

It’s a move that hopes to bring in additional revenue to an industry that has been struggling and give diners more options especially those who enjoy a nice cold beverage with their meal.

There are two locations in the Wichita area: 619 S Ridge Road and 995 E 61st St. N. I spoke to a couple of staff members at the West Wichita location and they said alcohol has not been added yet but should be on it’s way soon.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
