Over the past decade, it’s been Antojitos Salvadoreno, El Pollo Dorado, Restaurant Nicatropical, Jet BBQ, Restaurante Delicias Authentic Mexican Food, Restaurant Playa Del Carmen, and most recently El Papa Pollo. That latest restaurant closed during the start of the pandemic and now 2117 E. Central Avenue houses a new restaurant.
Southern Style Cafe has opened and is currently available via carryout only. They specialize in many Southern comfort foods like fish, wings, burgers, hot links and more.
Their hours are Tuesday through Thursday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. At the moment, they are only accepting cash and Cash App payments.
