Sweet Willy’s BBQ was a food truck that started in 2015. But before that they had a restaurant at 4628 S. Seneca that closed in 2014 and has since been a home of many different restaurants. Sweet Willy’s BBQ was a popular staple at many food truck events throughout Wichita. In the past year though, they quietly closed down with little notice.
But it appears Sweet Willy’s BBQ will be making a return. No official word on whether they will be bringing back the food truck but they did note that they’ll have a revamped menu.
For now, that’s all we know. With the colder weather approaching, it’ll be interesting to see if a food truck is in the plan this late into the season.
