I’ve had some readers asking me for an update on a story I published on a fourth Da Chicken Shak & More. My original story broke the news of an east side location coming in October.
It’s not unheard of for some delays to take place with openings and that seems to be the case with this one. The local restaurant with three other locations is still planning on opening their east side location in the former Subway space at 343 S Greenwich Rd which is at the northwest corner of Kellogg and Greenwich Road.
At this time, they are still working on renovations and are now aiming for an opening hopefully by the first week of November. Some people may notice a drive-thru and at this time they only intend to use that for carryout orders only.
Until then, you can visit one of their three other locations at 1112 W 31st St. South, 2428 W 13th St. N. and 3920 E Harry St.
Da Chicken Shak & More specializes in chicken tenders and other fried goodness like gator, shrimp and catfish. Be sure to follow Da Chicken Shak & More to stay up to date on their opening date. In the meantime, here’s a copy of their menu:
