As you are all probably aware, we dine out quite a bit every month. Over the course of the month, we try many different genres and dishes. There’s not one style we stick to. Towards the end of the month, we wanted to start sharing my favorite dish of the month; a Must Try Menu Item so to speak.
During the month of the November, there was one dish that stuck out immediately upon first bite. It was the Steak Diane from The Kitchen.
The Steak Diane is a new feature item they introduced last month. It’s a grilled filet mignon with mushroom-caramelized onion port wine sauce served with crispy fries & grilled asparagus.
The filet mignon was grilled to tender perfection. Each bite literally melted in our mouths with the mushroom-caramelized onion port wine sauce offering a complimentary sweet and delicious flavor. Our daughter devoured the fries and went crazy for more; even crazier after we drenched the fries in the wine sauce.
The Kitchen’s Steak Diane was simply wonderful from start to finish. We didn’t plan on going to The Kitchen but stopped by randomly on a whim and saw their specials sign. So, this was an unexpected surprise for us.
The special was $18 and available at dinner time only according to their specials sign. Definitely check this one out if you have the time to do so.
