I’ve been to their previous location on Douglas but in the past year, Monica’s Bundt Cake made the move to the shipping container mall, Revolutsia. It’s a place I’ve been wanting to check out for some time and thanks to a recent “Eat Local, Drink Local” campaign, I was motivated to make a brief stop to see the new space.

I think the shipping container is perfect for a business like Monica’s Bundt Cake. Most people probably aren’t dining in at a place like this and if so, there’s always the courtyard at Revolutsia when it’s nice out.
While they can take orders ahead of time, there was also a display of freshly made goodies for those who wanted to grab something on a whim.
That’s exactly what I did when I stopped by and picked up a pumpkin cupcake (Yes, my pumpkin addiction never ends) along with a strawberry bundt cake to share with everyone at home. Everything was very affordable and upon arriving home, we were quick to devour everything in sight.
Everything was moist, flavorful and exactly what we expected them to be. The cupcake had a delicious pumpkin-seasoned frosting and the strawberry bundt cake was sweet yet perfect in every way possible. My only regret was not purchasing more goodies to take home. But for our quick visit to Monica’s Bundt Cake, it left us desiring more.
Fortunately, we make many stops over at Revolutsia, so I’m sure there will be another visit in the future.
