After nearly two years of waiting for Los Compadres to reopen their west side location, a new restaurant will now take over the space. Los Cabos Cantina & Grill will be the new eatery to reside at 3827 W. 13th St. N.
The food could have some familiarity in town as the owner also owns El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant and manages La Hacienda on west Kellogg.
Los Cabos, which has no relation to the short-lived location on west Central, had hoped to be open at the start of November. Some delays took place and they are still awaiting their liquor license approval, so they are now aiming for a December 1 grand opening.
