Dempsey’s Biscuit Co. offered a bit of bad news but followed it up with good news earlier this morning.
They announced on their Facebook page that the restaurant will be closing at its current space at 3425 E. Douglas in College Hill on December 30.
Fortunately, they were quick to make sure the news didn’t stop there. Although their College Hill location will be ending, they will merge Dempsey’s Biscuit Co with Crutch BBQ.
If you’ve never heard of Crutch BBQ, they are a new BBQ restaurant that opened up at 550 N Rock Road earlier this year.
The merge is expected to be completed on January 7 when both brands will be available under one roof. The menu will combine both Crutch BBQ and Dempsey’s Biscuit Co.’s offerings which I think is a good thing that will allow for a wider selection for diners at one restaurant.
