This one hurts. Rancho Nuevo Mexican Restaurant announced earlier today they have closed their restaurant.
Located at 2330 N. Maize Road, Rancho Nuevo first opened in 2018. It was a Mexican restaurant we’d visit many times over that time span and loved everything they had to offer including their awesome kids meals which caught some flack online.
While I knew more closings were coming, this wasn’t one I was expecting. The staff and family who all worked there were amazing and friendly people.
This marks the third Mexican restaurant to close at that space joining Barroco Mexican Grill and Las Trojas Mexican Grill.
I’m hoping there will be a bright light at the end of the tunnel such as a soup dumpling restaurant taking over.
