A cereal bar with over 30 different cereals is now open in Wichita

I’ve seen cereal bars in some of the bigger cities I’ve been to. I remember seeing one in Chicago, Las Vegas and other places on my travels and was always curious how it would be received in Wichita. Looks like I don’t have to be curious any longer. The Clifton Square cafe and dessert shop, Papa’s General Store, has opened a cereal bar inside and it’s now open to the public.

Papa’s General Store’s cereal bar features over 30 different cereals, 12 different toppings and 5 different kinds of milk.

You have the option of ordering it in a take out bowl or in the form of a milkshake which is reminiscent of one ice cream shop I went to in Oklahoma City where you could mix and match cereals to be used in a milkshake.

The milkshakes come in 16oz and 20oz options while the cereals can be ordered in a kiddie, regular and jumbo-sized bowl. Prices for all options range between $3.95 and $7.50.

Milk options include whole, almond, skim, chocolate, and coconut.

Toppings include Butterfinger, chocolate chips, cookie dough, cotton candy sprinkles, M&Ms, malt balls, mini marshmallows, nerds, Oreos, peanuts, rainbow sprinkles, Reese’s mini pieces, Snickers and Thin Mint Cookies.

Regarding cereals, there are over 30 to choose from including many popular favorites like Apple Jacks, the various flavors of Captain Crunch, Cocoa Puffs, Golden Grahams, Trix, Lucky Charms, and more. There are also preset options of bowls to choose from that have the cereals and toppings included for those that are indecisive or don’t want to bother creating their own.
