Talliano’s Pizzeria closes in Derby after 27 years

Talliano's

It’s gone. One of the long-time staples of Derby, Talliano’s Pizzeria, closed over the weekend.

The owner, Janet Talley, made the decision to retire and with that the Pizzeria was retiring as well. Their last day was Sunday, January 17.

The news was made official over the weekend via their Facebook page:

Could that be the last of the pizza buffet in Derby though? Rumor has it someone will be opening a new one in that exact location. Stay tuned for more on that development.

Happy Dining,
Eddy

  1. Didn’t they have a location for a while on west 13th where Ziggy’s West is now? If it was them I remember they were pretty good…it’s sad to see the long time places closing.
