Kiko’s Mexican Fast Food is expanding to Wichita

Last year, Mo’s Hut at 2800 E. Central Ave closed due to COVID-19. The space which also used to be a Wings N Things will now be taken over by Kiko’s Mexican Fast Food starting Tuesday, February 23 which I’m told is their official grand opening date.

For those who have never heard of Kiko’s Mexican Fast Food, it’s a Mexican restaurant that started in Newton. Their original location is still at 1728 N. Main in Newton, KS.

Aside from driving by their original location, I have yet to stop inside their restaurant. So I’m quite excited for this as they have some of the best social content I’ve seen from a restaurant.

Online this is the description for Kiko’s:

Kiko’s is your Carne Asada Specialist! A fast casual burrito company featuring signature sauces, high quality ingredients, and fresh made to order items all with a creative approach. Locally owned and operated, Kiko’s main focus in bringing big city quality to the small town community. This never ending strive to provide the highest quality product is the reason for the smaller menu. It allows for true dedication to the process…perfecting the recipe, mastering the burrito roll and providing the perfect amount of toppings. Become part of our story by stopping by today and experiencing Kiko’s quality for yourself.

The location in Newton

A full listing of their menu can be viewed here. Be on the lookout for my first look at the restaurant when they open next week.

  1. Nice work, keep it up. Hopefully there will be some collaboration with other bloggers to get something going like here in BK. That blogger ended up expanding into food pop-ups and real estate listings / reviews then sold for $6M!

    Good luck,
