After a successful Halloween and Christmas season, Apparition is back with another themed event. Introducing: Alice in Wonderland Pop-Up Bar & Tea Party.
Their new pop up is set to kick off their spring season on Thursday, March 4.
For those unfamiliar with their themed events, Apparition is a speakeasy of sorts that took over the Table Top Java Shop space at 2120 N. Woodlawn inside Brittany Center. All the games and coffee equipment from the Java shop were moved over to Headshots Bar & Grill located next door. This collaboration allowed them to add something fun and festive to the Table Top space.
Here’s the synopsis of their latest pop-up bar:
Wonderland has come to Wichita. Join us Friday & Saturday evenings for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! Enjoy a unique, handcrafted, atmosphere set to take you to a world of your dreams. Follow down the rabbit hole for a one-of-a-kind experience available for a limited time. Themed drinks, meal, and costumed staff. There is nothing like this in town and it’s only here on the weekends!
Tickets include a hat to wear to the tea party, 3-courses of an assortment of decadent desserts, sandwiches, and savories and 3 “spirit forward” tea cocktails. Each tea-time is 90 minutes long. Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies with your reservation so we may accommodate. (vegetarian, gluten-free, peanut, etc) Costumes are not required, although encouraged. Grab your favorite headpiece and head down to the Mad Hatter!
Apparition is going to take you somewhere. Enjoy a unique atmosphere set in a hand-crafted wonderland. Sit among the flowers and the mushrooms in a forest of your imagination.
The pop-up bar once features 12 cocktails designed specifically for the event:
Upon walking in to the newly designed space, you’ll enter into an immersive experience that is meant to take you into a different world of sorts; basically something different from your typical bar setting.
Tickets which can be purchased through Eventbrite cost $50 per person (or if you get in on time $25 for an early bird special). The cost of the ticket covers the 3-course assortment and 3 tea cocktails.
Any additional drinks ordered on not included in the ticket price and can be ordered at the bar.
This is a ticketed event that will run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in March and April. The tea times take place from 6-7:30 p.m. and 8-9:30 p.m. Tickets also include an all day game pass for Headshots Bar and Grill, located next door to Apparition.
