Perhaps you’ve seen a new sign up at 2130 N. Tyler Road in the Richview Plaza strip center that also holds Great Wall and Welch Cleaners. Sweet Pops is headed to Northwest Wichita. They will be taking over the space formerly held by Flower Factory.
If you’ve never heard of Sweet Pops, they specialize in ice cream, coffee, boba tea and other assorted desserts. The northwest part of town is a desert for boba with many people often asking where to get it. The answer will soon arrive.
They already have one location open at 550 N. Rock Road near the northeast corner of Rock and Central.
I asked Sweet Pops when they planned to open and they are currently aiming for a May time frame. Once I hear a firm date, I’ll be sure to pass it on with all of you.
