A restaurant will be opening this summer in the Central Village shopping district near Central and Edgemoor. Many readers have been seeing signs go up at what will soon be Local Flavor Grill and Tapworks at 5400 E. Central.
The restaurant is owned by Jeremy Snyder who also owns Broadway Burgers & BBQ at 1659 S. Broadway. His new restaurant will combine what fans have loved about his first restaurant like the burgers and BBQ and then add more such a local craft beer and even Mexican dishes.
It should be a nice addition and bring more foot traffic to the Central Village shopping district as well as the nearby College Hill neighborhood. I’m surprised it’s taken them this long to add a restaurant.
Snyder could not comment on an opening date but did say it’s soon, and that they are very close. He will have a menu in the coming weeks available so once that’s ready I’ll pass that along to you. Stay tuned for more.
