One of the more popular Mexican restaurants in Southwest Wichita is Pollo Express. Fans have been curious what’s up with the restaurant after they suddenly closed.
I reached out to owner Ernesto Naranjo and he let me know that they are just closed temporarily. He said they will open back up.
He didn’t comment on anything else in regard to why or a timeframe. Once I do hear more, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth putting on your radar when they reopen. They are located at 2501 W Pawnee St. at the southwest corner of Pawnee and Meridian. Stay tuned for more.
