Walt’s Klassic is now closed. The owner of the burger restaurant located at 2420 S. Oliver passed away in March.
The family is looking to sell the restaurant, but last I heard nobody has purchased the business. Since the death, they have closed doors and disconnected their phone.
The Walt’s at Pawnee and Oliver was separately owned to the Walt’s Klassic near Kellogg and Tyler, Walt’s East or the Walt’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers on West Central.
If I hear any updates on the south Walt’s Klassic, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
