The Mediterranean restaurant, Green Olive, is relocating to south Wichita. Owners announced the news on their Facebook page.
One of the underrated restaurants in town has been operating at 6600 W. Central since 2016 in the same building that also houses Sam’s Southern Eatery. Every time I’ve been in, the place has been slow and I’m not sure why since the food has been outstanding.
Earlier this month, Green Olive closed their west side location. They are in the process of moving to the former short-lived The Barbe-Q-Pit space at 4520 E. 47th. St. South.
Once the Green Olive reopens, they will be revamping the name and adding new items to the menu. June is the tentative timeframe for what should fill a void with Mediterranean options in that area of town.
Rest assured, you can expect an update once they reopen.
Happy Dining,
Eddy
