If the May storms can hold off, Saturday could be a really big weekend in Goddard, KS. The new Tanganyika Falls Splash Park at Tanganyika Wildlife Park is set to open this weekend.
If you hadn’t heard of it, it’s the newest addition to the park which features a 5,000 square foot water park with slides, water tipping buckets, climbing structures, waterfalls, large animal characters, and a giant water-spewing giraffe. Best of all, it’s included with admission to the park. Whether you purchase a single-day pass or already have season passes, you’re in.
There will also be something there for adults. You are welcome to visit the bar where you will find four craft beers, frozen drinks and specialty cocktails.
If you’ve never been before, Tanganyika is a family-friendly destination where parkgoers have up-close, hands-on interaction with the animals. It’s located at 1000 S Hawkins Ln in Goddard, KS.
