El Dorado Foodie Tour | June 22 – 27
Join the first El Dorado Foodie Tour! The city’s favorite local restaurants and chefs are preparing special menus, dishes and deals for this one week tour any foodie will love! Foodie “passports” will be available beginning Monday, June 14th at El Dorado City Hall or to download digitally with a list of all participating locations and their special dishes for the week! Try them all and enter for your chance to win prizes!

Floatin on the River – Sunset Tour | June 23
Enjoy the glowing sky and ever changing colors of the sunset on this kayak tour! There’s a brief stop for photos at the Keeper of the Plains and then it’s back to the patio of the Wichita Boathouse to enjoy a barbeque dinner while relaxing to the sounds of soothing music. Tickets are $35 a person.

Art Garden | June 24
R First Open Mic Night this year for Poetry and Music. The event will be outdoors on the Cool Breeze Patio, and sign ups will be open until June 20th. This event will be alcohol free and an all ages event.

Blooms, Brews & Bloody Marys | June 24
Get ready to kick back and enjoy the finer things in life! Stroll our beautiful gardens, and taste Bloody Mary’s and small bites from local restaurants. Food Truck Thursdays at Exploration Place | June 24
Food Truck Thursdays takes place every Thursday at Exploration Place. Different food trucks will be on hand every Thursday. Grab a drink from the bar, jam out to live music, play games, and more all while you enjoy our scenic view of the Keeper of the Plains. Plus, bring the whole family to check out their exhibits. The event is free for EP members. Guest rates run $15 in advance or $20 per car at the gate.

Wichita City Pride 2021 | June 24
The event is a free, all-ages festival celebrating the health and achievements of Wichita’s LGBT community, and the beautiful diversity of Wichita’s queer artists, musicians, and performers, hosted by Godiva and starring Injoy Fountain! The night features performances by the best local queer artists, music, dancing, street vendors, food trucks, private event security staff, drinks by WAVE, free STI tests by Positive Directions, Inc., a free Covid-19 vaccination site provided by Hunter Health, and much more.

Cookies On Tap | June 24
Cookies on Tap is a community event to bring Wichita area adult residents together over cookies and craft brews in support of Girl Scouts. The event pairs Girl Scout cookies with craft brews from six local brewers, and provides participants with a sample of each pairing and one full pour of their choice in a special edition take-home cup.

Thirsty Thursday Bar Olympics | June 24

The Great Duck Derby | June 25

Qualifying ducks from each of the 7 heats will earn a spot in the championship race. Ducks in the championship race will have a chance to swim away with up to $1,000 cash!

O’Malley’s 12th Anniversary Bash | June 25 – 27
3-Day 12th Anniversary Bash! O’Malley’s turns 12 years old! Friday the 25th is a new Menu Release Party and the Country sounds of Tequila Ridge! Saturday the 26th is The Jason Callahan Band. Sunday the 27th is 90’s Night, 90-cent wells after 7pm and a 90’s DJ playing your favorite Country and Rock.

HHW Remote Collection | June 26
The Sedgwick County Household Hazardous Waste Remote Collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 26 at 4830 S. Broadway, West of the closed K-Mart. Please enter from 47th St. S. and exit onto Broadway.
