Yappy Hour is a micro-event benefiting the Bark For Life of Sedgwick County where we partner with a local dog-friendly brewery, restaurant, dog park or venue for an hour or two to get the word out about the Bark For Life event and our mission. We welcome humans and their canine companions to join us for games, drawings, and some pup socializing all while learning more about our Bark For Life event scheduled in September. Chicken N Pickle is donating 10% of sales during this event to the Bark For Life event.

Digital Wichita is back and we are bringing Social Media Day Wichita to Groover Labs on June 30th!
■ Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue | July 1
Located at the Cotillion, Named after the most successful Broadway musical and movie from the late 30’s and 40’s, Hellzapoppin Circus SideShow Revue is a world renown theatrical Rock-N-Roll circus thrill- show where some of the deadliest stunts in live entertainment are performed to loud crowd- pleasing musical tracks. ■ Food Truck Thursdays at Exploration Place | July 1
Food Truck Thursdays takes place every Thursday at Exploration Place. Different food trucks will be on hand every Thursday. Grab a drink from the bar, jam out to live music, play games, and more all while you enjoy our scenic view of the Keeper of the Plains. Plus, bring the whole family to check out their exhibits. The event is free for EP members. Guest rates run $15 in advance or $20 per car at the gate.
■ Grand Opening Night of Free State Flora | July 2
A new floral shop is opening in Wichita at 2910 E. Douglas! Come by for the grand opening party this coming First Friday. This open house event will feature free wine and snacks as well as floral arrangements, bouquets, and wall art for sale. Doors will be open for the event from 5:30pm to 9pm on the 2nd of July. Guests will be entered for a chance to win a bouquet, t-shirt, or small plant of their choosing. 3 winners will be selected at the end of the night. Prizes can be picked up or delivered the following day.

Experience Gallery Alley in a brand new way on Friday, July 2 during First Friday! Five local artists have created new sculptures that will transform the space into a permanent destination for intersensory art experiences. Signature Theatre brings their annual tradition of producing the musical, 1776, to the Orpheum Theatre. Winner of the 1970 Tony Award for best musical, 1776 tells the story of the deliberations, triumphs, and sometimes absurd debates of the founding fathers as they set out to write the US Constitution. This year’s production features an all-star cast of Wichita’s best professional actors.

The Wichita Parks Foundation, Wichita Park & Recreation, and Riverfront Stadium will be hosting the 6th Annual Red, White & BOOM! Presented by Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers on Sunday, July 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Riverfront Stadium will open their gates at 5:30pm with free admission for all to enjoy live music, yard games, kid’s activities, and more. Concession stands will be open for participants to purchase some of their favorite ballpark foods and beverages, while they explore the stadium, enjoy the music and participate in activities. Stick around the stadium, because capping off a great evening will be the Red, White & BOOM! Fireworks over the Arkansas River at 9:50 p.m.
