Blooms Brews and Bloody Mary’s takes place June 24

Botanica’s signature event is set for this month after taking a year off when nearly every major event was essentially canceled in 2020. Their fundraiser Blooms, Brews and Bloody Marys returns on June 24.

The event which takes place at Botanica at 701 Amidon promises to be better than ever.

Ticket holders can spend an evening at Botanica, stroll through the gardens, sample small bites from many local restaurants, enjoy craft beers from local breweries, and of course vote for your favorite local bars and bartenders in the competition for Best Bloody Mary in Wichita. I’m a huge fan of Bloody Marys and have attended this event multiple times in the past. It’s a really fun way to enjoy Botanica, especially when the weather cooperates. My body is ready to take on all the food, drinks and creative bloody marys to vote on.

The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on June 24.

But the event — during which a long list of local bars competes to serve attendees the best Bloody Mary — is returning for 2021. It’s scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on June 24, and tickets are on sale now. They are $50 for members or $60 for non-members.
