2021 ICT Burger Battle: Food Truck Style to benefit KETCH

Last year, the ICT Burger Battle had to change plans and run a different format having diners travel around to different restaurants. This year, they are bringing back the live in-person event and putting a different spin on things.

This year, ICT Burger Battle takes place on August 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at O.J. Watson Park. The event will be different from past years as it will pit ten Wichita food trucks against each other to determine the title of Best Burger in town.

Tickets to the event are $30 for adults, $15 for children ages 10 and under and those 2 and under are free.

Adult tickets include samples from 5 out of 10 food trucks while children’s tickets include samples from 3 food trucks along with free KETCH kids activities.

Contenders this year include U-Hungry Food Truck, Hot-2-Trot, Cousin Hector’s, Bread Sled Cafe, Southeast Carryout, Urban Skillet, Noble House, Smokin Diner and more.

Tickets can be purchased on their web page, http://ictburgerbattle.com/, with proceeds going to benefit programs and services at KETCH for adults in our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through specialized programs and services, KETCH is dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities by developing and/or enhancing skills needed to reach their highest potential.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
