The Vagabond Cafe
The local bar scene had a rough go in 2020 so I’ve been trying to visit some smaller bars around town to give them a bit of love. One of the latest stops was to grab a quick drink with some friends in Delano at The Vagabond.
They are a coffee shop and full service bar right at the roundabout in Delano at 614 W. Douglas, you can’t miss it.
We made a brief stop in while doing a small little bar crawl. Inside, there’s art and books lined across the wall. It’s a very unassuming place where you don’t have to worry about what you’re wearing or what you look like. It’s places this that really speak to me and I feel most at home at.
The drinks were cheap and we all felt comfortable. I started off my visit with a Pabst Blue Ribbon because why not and ended up with a few shots to celebrate a friends birthday.
It’s a place I haven’t been to in years. I’m all about vibes and character when stepping into a place for drinks. The Vagabond has no shortage of it.
If you’ve never been, The Vagabond is located at 614 W. Douglas. They are open seven days a week with regular hours of 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. according to their Facebook page.
Oh yeah, here’s the menu they had on display:
