I always see important news regarding restaurants. So, I figured why not put a bunch together when I see it for some quick hits on good things to know like temporary closings, hours changing, vacations, openings, etc?
The Sweet Witch: This Saturday, the excellent bakery in August is having an Open House from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Their cookies are highly recommended. Check out their Facebook page.
Paradise Donuts: To give the donut production staff a break, both locations of Paradise Donuts will be closed from Saturday, August 21 through Monday, September 6.
Mrs. Cole’s Tropical Snow Dealership: Goddard’s snow cone shop was closed for construction earlier this week but will resume with their normal business hours starting Wednesday, August 18.
Wichita Subs & More: Hours have changed effective immediately at Wichita Subs & More. They are now open Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and closed the remaining days. They will be available for catering through on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and can be reached at sales@wichitasubsandmore.com.
Thai Riffic Food Truck: One of Derby’s best food trucks has closed temporarily. They will be back but as many of you know, under the current climate, it’s tough running a food business.
Arthur’s Creations: The smoothie and fruit carving business on East Harry has closed temporarily due to remodeling.
Bomber Burger: After being closed for a brief bit of time, the popular south side burger restaurant is back open for business.
