You may have seen them out in Haysville, but did you know they have a location in Union Station in downtown Wichita? Yep, you can celebrate the Christmas spirit with enormous snow cones from Candy Cones in two different locations. The festive snow cone business opened their Wichita location earlier this summer and I had to make sure my daughter had a chance to check it out.

One of the nice parts about Candy Cones’ Union Station location is their ability to turn the area into a fun hangout spot. They have yard games and tables set up throughout the space for families to enjoy their cool treats and company.
If any bags are missing from cornhole, please send any and all blame to my daughter.
Of course, no visit to Candy Cones would be complete without a huge snow cone.
There were also three sizes to choose from, small for $3, medium for $4 and large for $5 which was in line with many other snow cone/shaved ice places in the Wichita area. There were also different preset creations dubbed Santa’s Favorites to choose from that were stuffed with plenty of goodies.
I ordered the apple pie which was what I had the last time. Knowing how picky my daughter is, I figured this would be the best option for her. People truly don’t understand how big their snow cones are until it’s right in front of you.
This is the “Are you kidding me!?!?!” look.
The cup was filled with ice cream and then topped with snow melt and whipped cream, cinnamon, more whipped cream and then a small graham cracker to top it like the star of a tree. It was delicious and tasted just like an apple pie would. The only problem was making sure to eat it as fast as possible to keep up with the Wichita heat.
Candy Cones is a nice addition to Union Station. Everybody loves the Christmas theme and the people who run the stand are very kind.
