Latest closing is a Hawaiian restaurant that opened in 2017

They opened their first restaurant in 2017 to much fanfare after originally starting as a food truck, but the time has come for Noble House Hawaiian Restaurant to say aloha. The announcement was made on their Facebook page this weekend, when the Hawaiian restaurant made the shocking post to let Wichita know they have closed permanently.

For years, Noble House would be a staple at many of the food truck events around town. They continued to operate both the food truck and their restaurant for years. From what I’ve gathered, both the restaurant and food truck have both closed, but I’m not quite sure if the food truck will be back in some capacity.

It’s been a tough time for Hawaiian restaurants in Wichita, as Mo’s Hut announced their closing less than a year ago. I was not expecting this, especially after they made the move to 3031 E. Central Ave. That leaves the Wichita area with a real shortage of Hawaiian options. The next biggest option is just outside of Wichita in Derby, KS at Sharon’s Place. If you’re looking for poke though, Crafted is the nearest option.
