Over the weekend the Maize Japanese restaurant, Nippon Japanese Grill, announced they made the decision to close. No additional information was made on whether they plan to reopen.
Nippon Japanese Grill opened in 2014 at 4041 N. Maize Road. They were a quick service Japanese steakhouse that offered hibachi food at an affordable price. If you’ve ever been to Emperor’s Japanese Grill, it’s very reminiscent of that because they are all owned by the same family of owners.
We have no idea if this will end up being permanent or a temporary closure. We will keep an eye on this and you can too by following them on Facebook for any updates.
