It’s a big day in the Wichita restaurant scene; there was originally going to be four restaurants celebrating openings today. Unfortunately, one of them had to postpone, but there’s still some things happenings for those who love new places to try.
Schlotzky’s: While the drive-thru has been open for the new Derby Schlotsky’s, today marks the grand opening when the dining room is open to the public. The restaurant is located at 2550 N. Rock Road. To celebrate, they are hosting a grand opening with a buy one, get one free entree special all day. Swag bags will be given away to the first 100 guests, prizes and more. The restaurant will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the lobby closing at 8 p.m. The drive-thru will remain open the whole time.
Mami Tere’s Mexican Kitchen: A new restaurant celebrates their grand opening at 3088 W. 13th St. Their menu seen below offers various entrees and drinks to choose from. Their hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and closed on Monday
Andaluz Bar Breakfasts & Restaurant: Opening at 2106 N. Amidon, Andaluz promises a mix of American, Mexican and European flare to their menu. Breakfast will also be a specialty on their menu found here. Their hours will be Sunday through Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.
Clutch House: The rebranded Tight Ends was supposed to have their soft openings take place today and their grand opening the next day, but that has been delayed. They’ve hit some snags with equipment arrival and will be announcing a new soft and grand opening date.
That leaves us with three new restaurants. Which one are you trying?
Happy Dining,
Eddy
